 Great Dane Rescue of New England, Incorporated is a diverse, volunteer group of experienced Great Dane owners who united in March 2013 to more effectively assist Great Danes in need, as well as the families who surrender, foster and adopt them. GDRNE is tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) charitable organization under of the Internal Revenue Code.

We are just a handful of normal folks who love Great Danes and would do anything for the breed. We are a medical rehab and rescue not a behavior rehab and rescue

Many hands really can make light work, getting to meet and work with the individuals within this rescue has been an amazing experience.

 MAGDRL is staffed completely by volunteers. Like all humane groups, MAGDRL is in the unique position of helping both humans and pets. In our case, the pets are Great Danes and mixed Dane dogs, and the people are those who have or want the companionship of the breed or, often, just dogs in general.  

 One Dane at a Time came about in an effort to provide Southern California with a breed specific rescue to assist with the growing number of Danes needing homes. With poorly regulated animal control, more and more people are illegally breeding Danes which causes them to be sold on the internet for next to nothing, without any home checks or ownership screening of ANY kind.  Serving Southern California

 The Great Dane Rescue of Southern California is 100% Non-profit.  We are the Great Dane specific division of Community Canines.

We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome Great Danes and Dane mixes.  We help those that have been abused, abandoned, neglected or through no fault of their current family, just need to find a new forever home.

We are the official GREAT DANE RESCUE group for the state of AZ and have been caring for

our beloved danes throughout AZ and the valley, for over 25 years. We are dedicated to

providing the proper care & placement of danes in need, whether they are a pound puppy or

The Great Dane Rescue of Minnesota & Wisconsin is an all-volunteer rescue devoted to rehoming Great Danes in MN & WI, with an on-site sanctuary for unadoptable Danes to live out their lives .  Serving Minnesota and Wisconsin

 KGDR is a foster- and volunteer-based rescue program.  We rely entirely on volunteers who share a passion for our gentle giants.   

Serving Kentucky

A 501c3 non-profit organization that has been formed by volunteers whose love for the Great Dane breed has lead them to assist Danes that have been neglected, abused, abandoned or owner-surrendered. This volunteer group has owned and worked with Great Danes on an individual level for a number of years, as well as having worked with other rescues. Danes that come into our rescue are fostered in the volunteers’ homes until a permanent family comes along.

Established in September 2012. Our mission is to help with the re-homing of displaced Great Danes and providing ongoing education regarding responsible Dane ownership and care.
Great Danes in foster care live in foster homes, not a shelter. Our intent is to match the Dane to the best home possible, based first and foremost on the Danes’ needs. We are a registered non-profit with the state of Florida and are a 501(c)3 charity.

 NWFLGDR is dedicated to saving and placing unwanted and neglected Great Danes into permanent homes. We carefully evaluate both the Dane and the potential family to ensure a proper placement for a forever outcome.
