Over 3 million dogs and over 3 million cats enter shelters nationwide each year. Since 2021, adoptions are declining, while shelter intakes are rising. That's a lot of dogs and cats needing a home, and a lot of rescues needing support.
Their founder, Oliver Carson, was a humane society volunteer when he was younger, and started Great Dane Coffee Company in honor of his dane, Fetty. Seeing the impact, he expanded into 30 breed-specific brands that give 20% of profits of the sale of coffee, tea, dog treats, apparel, and gifts to more than 300 rescues nationwide.

For Mark, Dogs have been a part of his life since birth. Born into a family that raised, bred and showed Siberian Huskies. His mother, Irene, was a committed breeder and handler. Those traits were instilled in him and he took that commitment with him on the path of the profession he chose. His career began running a private kennel in Waterbury, out of his home. Dealing in rescue and foster work with a large population of American Stafford Shire Terriers, but other breeds as well. Through that experience he found his pack! A litter of six unique and quirky AmStaffs that became his family. Huggy, Cheese, Yeyo, Bear, Lil'Foot and Eskimo were an amazing set that brought him the best experiences and drove his inspiration to other levels when dealing with the K9 mind. He owes so much to them. His love for Giant breeds ignited in the form of a massive but incredibly affectionate Great Dane by the name of Mouse. From that first house shaking bark to the last "you better pet me" lean! Her gentle touch and that assumed parenting demeanor she held with her family. She gave him the key to finding exactly what his life was missing. That turned out to be 3 of the smartest, charismatic and hilarious, enigmas that the Great Dane breed has produced. Salad, Ice and Jell-O! a band of brothers who now are his Family. This is the extension he plans to bring to you and your dogs as well.
