Tonto is a 4½-year-old Great Dane who’s had quite the journey — from losing a significant amount of weight to discovering two of his greatest joys: ice cream and the beach! His foster mom has shown him what it means to feel safe and loved, and now he’s ready to find a forever family of his own.

This big-hearted boy adores cuddles, naps in bed, and leisurely walks. He’s calm, affectionate, and happiest when relaxing next to his people (preferably on the couch). Ice cream is his favorite treat — though too much gives him a tummy ache!

Tonto can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he feels comfortable, his gentle, loving nature shines through. He enjoys older kids who are calm and respectful and would thrive in a peaceful home environment where he can continue building confidence and feeling secure.
