💙 About Bluey
Born in May 2022, Bluey is a stunning Great Dane/Mastiff mix whose journey is one of trust, resilience, and transformation. She came into rescue through a joint effort with Reenee’s Haven, after being surrendered and initially presenting as reactive and fearful. When we first met Bluey, she required a muzzle and could barely walk comfortably with our volunteer — but that was just the beginning of her story.

Once she arrived at Reenee’s Haven for rehab, Bluey began to blossom. She quickly learned structure, cues, and confidence under the guidance of her trainer, revealing her bright, affectionate, and eager-to-please personality. Her progress has been nothing short of remarkable — she’s proven herself to be smart, responsive, and full of heart.

Bluey thrives with male dogs and enjoys their companionship, though she does best with slow introductions to female dogs. She’s playful, social, and attentive once she feels secure. While she can still show a bit of stranger danger when someone new takes her leash, continued consistency and patience help her settle quickly.

Now, Bluey is ready to find her forever home — one that can offer her structure, understanding, and continued guidance to help her flourish. She’s looking for a confident, steady leader who will continue to show her that the world isn’t so scary after all.
